Live score lists use short codes to show where a match stands. These are the codes used across this site:
- 17:30 – scheduled kick-off time, shown in your local time zone.
- 23′ with a red dot – the match is live; the number is the current minute.
- HT – half-time.
- FT – full-time; the result is final.
- AET – finished after extra time.
- PEN – decided by a penalty shootout.
- PST – postponed to a later date; a new date appears once it is confirmed.
- CANC – cancelled.
Why the minute can differ from TV
Minutes are reported by the data provider in real time and the page refreshes every 30 seconds, so the minute can be a little behind a television broadcast. Stoppage time is shown as, for example, 90+3.
